Welcome back, friends! Today I’m sharing one of my August weekly spreads, and this one is all about simplicity, calm vibes, and functionality. If you’ve been looking for an easy yet aesthetic bullet journal layout, you’ll love this cozy setup.
Why I Chose This Design
For August, I wanted something light, minimal, and soothing, so I went with a green and beige color palette. These tones feel fresh and calm — perfect for the last stretch of summer.
This layout includes:
✔ Seven daily boxes for structured planning
✔ A small notes section for quick reminders
✔ A mini calendar for reference
✔ Stickers for a subtle decorative touch
It’s practical without feeling cluttered, and everything fits neatly on one spread.
The Process
-
Sketching the Layout
I started by lightly sketching everything in pencil — no ruler this time, because I love the imperfect, hand-drawn feel. Each day gets its own box, and I left space for a notes section at the bottom. -
Adding Headers & Color
For headers, I kept it simple but stylish: bold uppercase for days of the week, paired with some minimal cursive accents. -
Decorating the Spread
Once the structure was done, I added stickers for a little personality. They’re not just cute — they make the spread feel alive and cozy without sacrificing space for writing. -
Final Touches
I erased the pencil marks, added small highlights, and did a quick review to balance everything. And there it was - an aesthetic, functional weekly spread ready to keep me on track for August.
